Two Weeks Later

As you know I recently challenged myself to run 1K every day in the month of December.
Well I’m here to report on exactly how that’s been going so far. Firstly, I’ve been able to get up and do it every day. The runs occur mostly on mornings (I'm more a morning person than not) and I’ve done one evening/night run to date. Secondly, these runs are easier with friends. To date I've gone with a couple friends and one of my daughters and running with someone is times better than doing it alone. Finally, there were days that I just wanted to stay inside and with December getting colder by the day, it took some personal pep talks to ensure that I got up, got ready and got going.
Up until yesterday, Dec 15th, I had done 14 activities and covered a total of 19.0Km. that’s not too bad for someone who is not keen about running.
If you mean to get up and get exercising in 2020, I’d like to encourage you to start NOW! Don’t wait. It only takes a beginning to start you on your journey.
